At just 16 years old, Sydney Jane wrote and recorded her debut EP, ‘Hello, Jane’. At 14 years old, inspired by her short time living in London as a child and her high school years spent in Chesapeake, Virginia, Sydney began blending her favorite sounds and experimenting with singing and writing in her bedroom closet every day after school. After posting her demos online, she began working with local producers (Bobby Azarian, Beanz & COOP, Gabe Niles) and turned her dreamy ideas into her first project - Hello Jane - a unique expression of who she was as a budding artist.
After its release, ‘Hello, Jane’ circulated the 757 area and caught the ear of Pusha T (The Clipse), who approached her with an offer of management. After ultimately going in a different direction, Sydney passionately continued her career and musical explorations, eventually leading her to become a globally recognized dance music artist, producer, and composer.
These early years shaped the heart and soul of Sydney’s sound. Now, after years of no longer being available to the public, listen to Hello Jane here and take a journey back to the beginning - a child’s pure love for music.
