Sydney Jane is an American singer, songwriter, producer, and composer based in Cologne, Germany who’s worked with and turned the heads of some of the biggest names in dance music (Disclosure, Michael Calfan, MJ Cole, Native Instruments). Sydney’s unique, highly emotive, and sensuous vocal tone is at the heart of her music, which combines pop prowess with R&B attitude. A lyricist since 14 years old, and having lived abroad for the first time at just 11 years old, she combines her natural talent, broad curiosity, and diverse experiences to craft lyrics that are as poignant as they are catchy, as rich as they are relatable.

Sydney has recently teamed up with London producer, multi-instrumentalist, and singer/songwriter Ray Alex to create and complete her debut album, Water On Mars. With this album, Sydney’s evolution into an artist with the passion, drive, magnetism, and cultural awareness to become a global sensation is on full display. Together, she and Ray Alex have created a genre-bending, fresh, and strikingly progressive R&B album with strong influences from 2000s R&B, early UK Garage, Synthwave, and Pop. Sydney’s voice and lyrics beautifully convey a complex range of emotions and situations that many people are experiencing today. From social and political unrest, falling in love, and loneliness, to disbelief, valor, and pure joy, Water On Mars is R&B as medicine and creativity as compassion, coming to you in June 2025.
